As a
Staff Software Engineer , you will be responsible for:Lead the design and implementation of complex robust, scalable software solutionsMake high-level architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance and maintainabilityWrite high-quality maintainable and secure code using software development best practicesYou will serve as a mentor to other engineers and will be working closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps to build high-quality software solutions.Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a core member of the software engineering teamOwn end-to-end delivery of software and contribute to the overall technical vision of the product road-mapQualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field8+ years of experience in software developmentExpertise in one or more programming languages such as Javascript, Python, Java or Go.Strong knowledge of distributed systems, data structures and algorithms, and software design patterns.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), preferably AzureExperience with streaming data technologies such as kafka, flink, spark, etcProficient in databases (SQL/NoSQL) and distributed systemsExperience with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, AMQP, BLE, Zigbee, etc.)Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Excellent communication and leadership skillsNice to Have:
Prior experience in IOT and/or SAAS platform is a HUGE plusExperience working with front-end technologies, specially reactPrior experience in edge computingKnowledge of low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) technologies such as LoRaWAN, NB-Io
The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $250,000, plus bonuses and Pre-IPO equity. It is uncommon for anyone to be hired at or near the top range for their role, and final compensation is based on the facts and circumstances of the case. The compensation range is broad because it reflects many factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, and training directly relevant to the role, business and company needs, cultural fit, level, and location.
