The plant was built in 1993 and has been owned by Pactiv since 1999. In 2017, the Moorhead Pactiv plant received the Pactiv Environmental Facility of the Year award.The plant is a 24/7 operation with about 175 employees. The building is approximately 150,000 square feet and produces molded fiber products. These products include egg cartons which are made from recycled materials and molded fiber hinged lid containers and plates made from virgin fiber.Pactiv Evergreen

Establish local strategy, direction of workforce and interface with key internal customerResponsible for a plant population of 175 employees with high complexity and a 24/7 operation.Build a work environment that fosters operational, team and individual excellence by demonstrating effective leadership, communication and people support behaviors.Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, to plant staff and senior management.Management of annual operating plan and deployment of resources to deliver production commitments in key safety, quality, service, and cost target areas.Support internal customer groups to ensure attainment of EBITA targets and delivery of finished products to meet customer expectations.Provide direction to develop safety culture required to achieve and sustain world-class safety performance, including development and execution of effective safety processes.Responsible for developing annual operating plans, budgets, and detailed plans to deliver.Established track record of manufacturing accomplishmentsKnowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing execution, and process based continuous improvement. Provide direction to establish a culture of continuous improvement leveraging Lean Manufacturing principles.Direct site capital programs and expenditures to support strategic operations goals.Comply with all local, state and federal regulations.Qualifications:Qualifications:BS/BA in engineering or business preferred7 - 10 years experience in manufacturing operations including management/supervisory experience required.Must have financial aptitude, analytical skills, proven management effectiveness.Have a progressive history of Lean Manufacturing within a manufacturing environmentManagement/supervisory experience required.Clear understanding of regulatory requirements required to manufacturing operations managementBenefits:This position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus, 401(k) plan with no waiting period and dollar for dollar match up to 6% and immediate vesting, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending and health savings accounts, paid time off, paid parental leave, up to nine paid Holidays and two floating Holidays, wellness program, tuition reimbursement and family care benefits.#LI-TM1
