General Summary
:
The Marketing Coordinator - Operations will be responsible for providing 'all things data' to Marketing stakeholders. This person will work with a variety of data sources each day to bring useful insights to other Marketing team members. The coordinator will be responsible to pull data on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Along with retrieving data, the coordinator will be responsible to maintaining data quality among all of Marketing data sources by taking ownership of Marketing automation platforms. This person will be responsible for standardization of data and Marketing processes.
Essential Job Functions:
Locates and extracts data from a variety of sources for use in Marketing performance and analysis on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis;Develops and manages monthly Marketing performance dashboards in PowerBI;Leads analytical investigations aimed at answering specific business problems;Develops and presents learnings from analyses, including understandable insights and actionable recommendations;Converts complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports;Builds project plans for companywide marketing initiatives in Smartsheet to ensure Marketing team can execute initiatives in real-time;Manages the data quality of Marketing automation and CRM platforms used to generate, distribute, and report on Marketing initiatives;Creates and maintains data format standardization policies and procedures for all Marketing automation platforms;Troubleshoots issues related to data, reports, and databases to ensure high data quality;Implements new tools to support the analysis of marketing initiatives;Maintains Marketing product documentation including all business segment product matrix;Performs monthly budget analysis;Owns and maintains marketing contribution database and ensures spend is allocated to the proper areas;Establishes and maintains Marketing processes that ensure best practices are documented;Reviews all Marketing processes annually to ensure the process are up-to-date and accurate.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extreme attention to detail, adaptability, excellent time management, and dedication to staying organized;Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills;Maintains high levels of accuracy, integrity, process consistency and documentation;Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders through data visualization;Self-starter, with the ability to work independently;Passion for continued learning of new processes and platforms;Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables,VLookups, and formulas);Experience working with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, or PowerBI is highly preferred.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Data Science, or related field, or five years of demonstrated work experience with ability to fulfill the essential job functions.
