Here, your growth powers our success.To meet our growth goals, we are adding an Insulator - Constuction to the team. Insulator is responsible for installing insulation materials on various structures and equipment across residential, commercial, and industrial construction sites. This role ensures that all insulation is applied according to project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations, helping to optimize energy efficiency, reduce noise, and protect against fire hazards. The Construction Insulator works closely with other trades and project teams to ensure the effective and timely completion of insulation-related tasks.Job Duties:Install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, cellulose, or other approved products in walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, and around pipes and ductwork.Apply insulation to HVAC systems, including ducts and piping, as well as around mechanical and plumbing components to prevent heat loss or gain.Read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and technical drawings to determine insulation requirements.Measure and cut insulation materials to fit around obstacles such as electrical boxes, plumbing, HVAC ducts, and other fixtures, ensuring a snug and secure fit.Install vapor barriers, fireproofing materials, and other protective elements as needed.Ensure that all insulation materials are installed according to building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.Seal joints and seams in insulation to create a continuous barrier, preventing air leaks and improving energy efficiency.Work with other trades (such as electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians) to coordinate insulation work around other installations.Operate hand tools, power tools, and insulation blowing equipment safely and efficiently.Inspect completed insulation installations to verify compliance with specifications and identify any areas for improvement.Remove old or damaged insulation as required for renovation or repair projects.Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations.Follow company safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), fall protection, and adherence to OSHA standards.Participate in on-the-job training and professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest insulation materials and techniques.Provide feedback and suggestions for improving insulation efficiency and installation processes.Assist in estimating material needs based on project scope and blueprints.Maintain organized records of insulation installations and job site progress.Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
