Occupational Therapist
for the
Psychiatric Services Department .
SummaryThe Occupational Therapist will administer occupational treatments to assigned pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients while providing care as needed.
They will evaluate patients' abilities and limitations utilizing all occupational skills and knowledge available, develop and implement treatment plans for patients based on evaluations and schedule patients for therapy and/or treatments.
Additionally they will, counsel, educate, and instruct patient and patient's family for proper home care program, communicate and closely work with other personnel in coordinating patient's occupational therapy program and design, correct, and/or adjust orthopedic and/or assistive devices.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy or a related science with an Occupational Therapy Certificate.
