A hospital-based acute care surgeon serving one hospital and supporting a robust and busy established general surgery practice.Overview:- Employed inpatient surgicalist model (all shift work, no additional call)- Board-eligible or board-certified general surgeon- Experience preferred but not required- Bread and butter general surgery, emergency, and acute care surgeries- Cover only 1 facility- On/Off flexible scheduling- New 245,000-square-foot Surgery & ICU tower opened in 2019 with a recent $7 million surgery expansion- 17 state-of-the-art surgical suites featuring new equipment and cutting-edge technology- Hospital performs approximately 10,000 surgical procedures each year- Active hospitalist and intensivist programs to assist with medical management- 4 Da Vinci Xi Robots and 1 new Da Vinci 5 Robot- Hospital-based and inpatient-focused surgicalist: Managing inpatient consults, Rounding on patients, Covering emergent, acute care surgeriesJonesboro, Arkansas, with a population of around 80,000, is a thriving city known for its welcoming community and dynamic growth.
