Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Admissions Coordinator, Executive Education - Boca Raton, FL

The FAU College of Business is one of the largest AACSB-accredited colleges of business in the United States with more than 8,000 students. The Admissions Coordinator is an administrative position that should maintain extensive knowledge of university admission requirements, policies and procedures. Duties to include recruiting efforts by providing admissions information to prospective students, creating communication materials, representing the university at onsite locations, maintain student records and the process of all required paperwork with other departments. Works closely with the Director and Assistant Director to develop and implement admissions goals and strategies, in addition to working with the Graduate College at the university.

Guide prospective students on different programs offered at FAU to assist them in achieving their educational aspirations with the best program for them.

Assist potential students through the application process starting with the inquiry stage, all the way to course enrollment.

Coordinate recruiting and facilitate large group presentations for prospective students.

Work closely with program coordinators to ensure that new student applications are processed in a timely manner.

Work with the Graduate College to coordinate and manage the admission processes i.e. student applications, official transcripts, and residency paperwork, petitions, and decisions awards.

Attend college fairs and sponsored events for recruiting purposes. Reach out to companies and organize outreach events to promote graduate degree programs. Facilitate large group presentations for prospective students.

Work closely with other team members of the Executive Education, College of Business, and Graduate College teams to secure new student admission.

Innovate and implement process improvement measures in efforts to increase and maintain program retention.

Exercise the highest level of customer service to exemplify the Executive Education “red carpet” service expectation.

Work with immunization department, registrar's office, Graduate College, OIT and International student office to ensure that prospective students' paperwork is finalized.

Collect and review student files for admissions in all graduate programs. Manage and secure all student credentialing paperwork and documents. Respond to student questions via email and phone during work hours.

Collect and process new student deposit payments.

Work closely with the financial aid office to answer student questions and process paperwork.

Work closely with the marketing team to prepare advertising materials (catalogs, website, print materials).

Reach targeted enrollment goals each semester for the following programs but not limited to: Sport MBA

May be reassigned to assist with recruiting of other programs as needed.

Provide general office support if requested in other areas i.e. program management and academic advising.

Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.

Data entry skills required.

Proficiency in English and in MS Office Suite required.

Customer service orientation and negotiation skills required.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate

experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience.

Experience working with students, and/or adults in an educational environment.

University experience and knowledge of admissions.

Experience with Presenting to large groups.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Knowledge of Banner, Workday, VIP, CRM system and Adobe.

Salary:

$55,000 - $60,000 per year
