Job Summary
This 8-12 week summer internship provides an exciting opportunity to learn about the food and beverage operations within a large property. As a Food and Beverage Intern, you will work closely with the food and beverage team to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of service, including restaurant operations, bar service, and special events. You will develop essential skills in customer service, menu knowledge, and food presentation while assisting with daily operations. Additionally, you will have the chance to shadow and learn from other departments in the hotel. This internship offers a comprehensive understanding of how food and beverage operations contribute to enhancing the guest experience and the overall success of the property.
Requirements
Job RequirementCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field (preferred but not required).Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Interest in food and beverage trends, with a willingness to learn about various cuisines and service styles.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
