is seeking a

Program Financial Analyst

to support multiple sites including Whippany, NJ and Woburn, MA. In this role, you will be a key team member responsible for program financial planning and analysis, while enhancing value and visibility to the Program Management Office (PMO). Your direct efforts will drive more proactive decision making and improve the profitability of our business. Preferred location would be Woburn, MA. Position will also support program managers at our Whippany, NJ facility and could require occasional travel.

Responsibilities

Learning and enacting various program finance processes and proceduresCultivating and maintaining cross functional partnership with Program Management, Contracts, Procurement, Operations, and EngineeringDeveloping time-phased program baselines to track cost and schedule for a portfolio of programsTracking material expenditures from a consolidated bill of material (CBOM) and monitoring production touch laborUtilizing data collection and reporting systems to provide weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting to support internal and external customersProviding variance analysis and assessing program risks and opportunitiesForecasting, budgeting, and analyzing key program metrics (Orders, Sales, Gross Margin, Shipments, Cash) analysis and reporting to senior leadershipContribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP)Working collaboratively with program team and senior leadership to generate and present financial metrics on program performanceDeveloping and analyzing program estimates at complete (EACs) for Gross Margin adjustmentsSupporting proposal development, fact finding, audits, and negotiationsSupporting special projects and Kaizen events to continually improve business processes

Qualifications

Minimum:Bachelor's Degree and 0-2 years' of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role (December 2024 and May 2025 graduates encouraged to apply)Microsoft Office proficiency including Microsoft Excel (familiarity with formulas)This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)Preferred:Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, pivot tables, etc.)Previous Defense Industry experienceFamiliarity with IFS or other ERP systemsStrong communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with Program Managers and across other functional areasAbility to work under deadlines and constraintsSalary Range:

Program Finance Analyst I: $52,680.35 - $76,438.16 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidateEMPLOYMENT TRANSPARENCY
