Job Title: Warehouseman
Job Description
The Warehouse worker is responsible for the movement of material to and from stock locations, unloading purchased material, and performing cycle counts when required.
Will be receiving shipments, verifying inventory and items and processing documentation.
Will be required to operate a forklift, previous forklift operating experience is required (sit down or stand up forklift)
The position will eventually be moving into the distribution center in 2025, parts delivery to the manufacturing facility and would be driving a box truck to deliver items.
Ensure that correct quantity and correct material are issued
Verify inventory counts through weekly cycle counts
Check incoming material in the computer system and store in designated areas
Separate non-conforming material to prevent accidental use.
Raise visibility of processes contributing to errors
Maintain warehouse equipment (Forklifts, storage racks, PC’s, pallet jacks) per guidelines
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word)
Shift:
7:00am - 3:30pm
Monday - Friday
Location & Additional Information:
Position is starting off working in the Virginia beach location!
Candidates must be willing to work at either location as they will all eventually be under the new Chesapeake Distribution Center in May 2025!
This candidate must understand that once hired on, they will be required to do a DOT and MVR check for Box Truck driving (no driving until hired on permanently)
MUST have a valid Driver's License to qualify for the position.
