Job Description
Director of Regional Financial OperationsThe Director of Regional Financial Operations position plays a critical role in the company's financial success by providing strategic insight, financial leadership, and operational expertise across the assigned region(s). Key responsibilities include overseeing all financial operations and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures within the PA region initially, and other regions as the organization expands to other regions. The Director of Regional Financial Operations will work closely with corporate finance, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to drive financial performance, optimize resources, and support the company's strategic goals. The Director of Regional Financial Operations will possess the following attributes: (i) strong ethics and integrity attributes; (ii) high attention to detail and accuracy; and (iii) adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment. The primary responsibilities of the Director of Regional Financial Operations include:
Financial reporting :
Accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for assigned regions, in alignment with corporate standards and US GAAP.
Coordinate / collaborate with Assistant Controller on financial reporting deliverables and deadlines.
Oversee regional tax reporting, compliance with local laws, and internal control systems to minimize risk and protect company assets.
Work closely with the assistant controller to respond to external auditor requests and to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
Prepare the monthly partner distribution for ENTPA partners, report distribution results to respective partners.
Account and variance analysis for ENTPA.
Monitor and improve local controls and accounting procedures where weaknesses are identified at unit level
Establish routines for weekly operating and profitability reports, focusing on provision of accuracy and relevant, prompt information for management
Insurance Review and Analysis:
Assist with the administration and evaluation of Oasis RRG, ENTA Health Insurance (Employee Self-Healthcare Plan) and Commercial Insurance.
Identify and analyze trends to reduce financial risks
Financial Planning and Analysis
Lead the annual budgeting process for your region(s), including preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Conduct regular variance analysis to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
Develop and present financial and operational reports, dashboards, and KPIs to senior management.
Prepare / Develop the valuation analysis for the external FMV advisors.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Manage regional cash flow, including forecasting and monitoring cash requirements to support ongoing operations.
Partner with treasury and tax teams to optimize cash flow, working capital, and tax strategies for the region.
Reconcile clinical cash to the general ledger monthly.
Strategic Financial Leadership
Serve as a financial advisor to the corporate management team, offering insights into financial implications of business decisions and strategies.
Collaborate with corporate finance to implement strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, or expansions, within the region, assessing potential risks and returns.
Assist with due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, or expansions within the region.
Assist with integration and transition for any mergers, acquisitions, or expansions within your region(s).
Implement cost-saving measures and process improvements, leveraging technology where possible to increase efficiency.
