with us.SummaryThe Calibration Specialist is responsible for performing calibration, testing, troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment and chemistry lab equipment.ResponsibilitiesPerform calibration, testing, troubleshooting and repairs.
Use established internal procedures as well as industry standards, manufacturer procedures, etc. for the proper calibration and troubleshooting of electronic M&TE.
Maintain and follow ISO related procedures.
Complete required documentation to certify the verification and calibration of electronic and mechanical M&TE.
Assist system owners, management and engineering team to properly operate, maintain and select test and measurement equipment.
Ensure all standards meet SI specifications and are in good operating condition at all times.
Maintain lab standards and support all continuous improvement processes.
Troubleshoot and repair test and measurement equipment in support of new projects.
Perform laboratory housekeeping.
Assists as requested to perform validation or verification testing for products and equipment
Participates with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering in defining and solving production, design or inspection problems and performs engineering testing.
Recommends changes or improvements to documentation, processes, inspection method or related criteria.
Job RequirementsHigh School Diploma Required. (Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in preferred)
Minimum 2 years related instrumentation/calibration experience.
Must be able to read and comprehend trouble-shooting manuals and blueprints/schematics.
Must be able to effectively use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, gauges, meters, temperature, pressure, force, etc., test instruments/ electrical and electronic test instruments.
Calibration experience with the following lab equipment: HPLC, GC (Gas and Liquid chromatography), Analytical Scales, Temperature Mapping and Thermometers
