Summary
The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine is recruiting a qualified physician to be part of a three-member Pediatric Infectious Diseases team who will serve as full-time faculty for the Infectious Diseases service at the new state-of-the-art North Austin campus. The North Austin campus is comprised of a 52 bed, 365,000-square foot inpatient hospital and an adjacent 170,000-square foot outpatient facility offering a full suite of specialties and subspecialties.

Job Duties
The qualified applicant will have successfully completed a Fellowship Program in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. One to 3 years Pediatric Infectious Diseases patient care experience is preferred. Board certification (or Board eligible) in Pediatric Infectious Diseases is required.
The physician will spend most of her/his time on the inpatient consultation service or in the Pediatric Infectious Diseases outpatient clinic and will devote a percentage of time as Medical Director of Infection Prevention & Control.
