Responsibilities
Dust/damp wipe furniture, desks, tables, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, shelves, chairs, phones, drinking fountains, etc.Clean lunchroom/kitchen where applicableMaintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed. Keep supply area organized and cleanEmpty waste bins and recycling bins, transport to designated collection pointsReplenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels, etc.) if required within the contractVacuum carpets and walk off mats, including edges and behind furnitureMop floors with wet or damp mopsMaintain and clean restrooms - mirrors, toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers, partitionsClean all entrance glass, inside and out, to remove smudges and fingerprintsNotify supervisors or call office of unsafe conditionsMinimum Requirements
Good communication skillsKnowledge of various cleaning products and when to use themKnowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleanersAbility to clean and disinfect various surfacesGood organizational skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to workStrong time management and customer service skillsAbility to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periodsAttention to detailCommitment to internal and external customer serviceMust be a team playerWorking Conditions
Casual attire. Sitting, bending, stooping, and heavy lifting may be required to perform the duties of this role.
