Vice President Corporate Banking

OneSearch Group has partnered up with one of the fastest-growing Corporate & Investment Banking groups in South Florida, in their search for a Vice President of Corporate Banking. The VP will be responsible for deal sourcing, origination, deal structuring and presentation for Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance and Asset-Based Lending for Large Corporates, Financial Sponsors and Middle Market companies.Essential Responsibilities :Establish the Bank's relationship and maintain continuous contact with key investment banks, private equity firms and key financial sponsors across a wide variety of industries for the purpose of sourcing new financing opportunities.Source, originate and structure transactions by evaluating and reviewing loan information, including but not limited to financial projections, risk mitigation, financial models, lender presentations/decks, public filings, datarooms, diligence reports, and other related loan information and supporting documentation.Prepare investment approval memorandums for presentation to credit committee or other applicable approval authority committee.Pro-actively anticipate questions/topics that credit committee members will likely focus on, sufficiently address those topics and include in the credit documents, and be prepared and ready to address/discuss those points at committee if needed.Work with the Corporate Banking Head in the development and implementation of the strategies of corporate banking activities, including providing support on the structuring of complex financing transactions and loan syndications.Provide leadership to ensure that staff has the required competencies to assess the value of businesses, structure financing proposals and market the Bank's products and services.Assist in monitoring the financial performance of the portfolio, completing waivers and amendments, assisting with quarterly and other reporting.
