Sanitation (Janitorial) PM Shift

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform and verify all sanitation duties and documentation as required by the Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Keep warehouse floor clean, using both manual and electric-powered equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities (moping, trash take out, change of trash bags, counter cleaning, etc.)
• Collect waste material for both recycling and disposal
• Maintain cleanliness of lockers and bathrooms
• Maintain cleanliness of break room to standard for eating.
• Organize and stock supply cabinets for the break room, restrooms, and locker rooms
• In support of the above functions, may be assigned basic tasks related to facility maintenance
• Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary (see below).
When needed this individual may assist with the following:
• Coordinate the sanitation crews, designating scheduled line downtime task's as a priority.
• Vast knowledge of plant chemistry and required chemical safety.
• Demonstrated knowledge of both wet and dry cleaning methodologies.
• Knowledge of CIP circuit components and ability to perform CIP operations.
• Assisting operations in P.E.C teardowns and scheduled downtime-cleaning events.
• Assist with equipment cleaning validations on a scheduled basis.
• Maintain sufficient chemical inventory in the storage areas and verify the operation of chemical dispensing equipment.
• Working knowledge of food safety and ability to coach others.
• Responsible for assisting all areas in maintaining high levels of daily cleanliness and adherence to site GMP's
• Prioritize work on a daily basis by identifying pressing issues, through communication, knowing shift production plans and awareness of the area.
• Promote a high-quality team environment through effective teamwork and self-management with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of PEM, Non-PEM, Environmental Air Monitoring, Water Micro, and IPM programs.
• The ability to work with all teams at the site on Sanitation, Pest Control, and Housekeeping projects
• Assist in the development of sanitation operators.
• Assist with plant start-up sanitation projects and trials.
