JOB SUMMARYOur client is seeking a General Manager for their Dispensary who will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the dispensary in accordance with the State, the standards set by the Company and responsible for the overall profitability of the dispensary. The General Manager leads the dispensary staff in achieving sale goals and providing great service for our customers. The General Manager oversees the entire leadership team of the dispensary and is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, compliance, productivity, and profitability throughout all departments.JOB DUTIESResponsible for leading the dispensary staff in achieving sales and services goals as set forth by the companyResponsible for dispensary staff oversight, schedules, training and developmentMaintain accurate records of all dispensary activities including daily cash reconciliations, patient/customer records, sales, and returns in accordance with the State and the standards set by CompanyUnderstand and analyze store reporting to ensure proper inventory levels, employee productivity and overall store profitabilityMaintain inventory accuracy and compliance through partnership with the Inventory Manager/ SpecialistServes as a resource for dispensary staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news and changes in regulationsProvides superior customer service for vendors, patients/customers and caregiversResponds to all patient/customer complaints, requests, concerns, suggestionsResponds to all staff questions, concerns or suggestionsResolves any conflict immediatelyResponsible for delegating tasks to staff in order to maintain a compliant and clean facilityCoordinates with upper management to ensure accurate information is communicated to dispensary staffManaging and implementing training on POS systemREQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS5+ years of retail experience preferred3+ years of Management experience preferredProficient in MS Office, Highly Proficient in MS ExcelDetail-orientedExperience in data entry, and data management idealDemonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and product-related information in a professional consultative mannerStrong business acumen including reporting and data analysisExcellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skillsMust maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and a sense of urgencyAfter-hours work required to manage sales-facing inventory and order entryExperience in a fast-paced environment and compliance-drivenIndustry experience preferred but not requiredADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSMust be 21 years of age or older to applyMust comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industryMust have the ability to travel between different store locations for first 30 days of trainingBenefits:100% paid full health benefitsDental and Vision Opt-InPTO after 6 months of employmentBonus IncentivesAbout Vangst:Vangst is the go-to talent marketplace for cannabis businesses, providing on-demand gig workers and full-time employees with the skills and credentials needed to succeed in this rapidly growing industry.
