Pay Rate: $30.73-39.14
Job Overview:
The Assembler–Seal Technician will perform both routine and complex production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools. This role requires the ability to follow detailed work instructions, read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems.
Perform complex production assembly operations using manual or automated assembly tools.
Use a computer in a production environment to look up, read, and comprehend technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
Apply sealant to surfaces per specifications and install various aircraft system components.
Operate mechanical lifts and various tools such as rivet guns, bucking bars, screwdrivers, power screwdrivers, ratchet wrenches, and other hand tools.
Use chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, and special finishes as required.
Inspect work quality and check for Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
Adhere to high standards of safety and compliance with regulations.
Work in confined spaces and use a respirator as needed.
Perform bond and ground measurements and in-tank sealing in fuel tanks and other structures.
Carry out fuel tank washes.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications.
7+ years of aviation experience.
Education:
Aviation experience or a completed aviation degree.
Technical/Software Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, CAD/3D Drawing programs, and Internet Explorer.
Required Skills:
Ability to complete the New Hire Training Cycle Flow and maintain all required certifications.
Proficiency with typical hand tools and high impact vibratory tools (bucking/riveting).
Ability to work in confined spaces and qualify for respirator use.
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) and with high hazard chemicals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle physical demands, including carrying/lifting up to 10-35 pounds, and performing various physical activities (climbing, balancing, crawling, crouching, kneeling, bending, reaching, twisting, and walking).
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the aviation industry.
Ability to work around energized sources and exposure to constant noise.
Flexibility to handle varying tasks and work conditions.
Work Environment:
Use of appropriate protective clothing/equipment as determined by the task.
Ability to operate mechanical lifts and perform tasks in confined spaces.
Exposure to chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, special finishes, and energized sources.

Pay Details: $30.73 to $39.14 per hour
