Job Title: Assembler II
Job Description
The Assembler II will be responsible for detailed assembly tasks, including electrical wiring, brazing, air compressor installation, silicone sealing, and foaming of in-process units. This role involves both mechanical assembly and labor-intensive tasks such as caulking and foaming.
Responsibilities
Install wire harnesses and connect wires as per diagrams.
Use mallets, hand tools, rivet guns, and other power tools to install compressors.
Perform foaming operations by connecting units to machines and filling them with insulating foam material.
Carry out silicone installation tasks similar to caulking.
Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure high standards.
Perform repetitive lifting of 30-40lb parts, up to 50+ times per day.
Essential Skills
Previous experience in a job requiring standing for at least 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week.
Ability to repetitively lift 30-40lb parts.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
Ownership of steel-toed or composite-toed protective shoes.
Ability to work safely and produce high-quality work.
Experience in mechanical assembly roles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred: Experience with electrical wiring.
Nice to have: Experience with air compressors.
Nice to have: Experience with brazing.

1st shift: 6am-430pm + mandatory OT on Friday that is often
Pay
$19.50 on 1st shift

Work Environment
The work environment is a standard fabrication and assembly operation divided into two areas: fabrication and assembly.
The fabrication area includes a laser cutting machine, deburring and brazing stations, and workstations for basic hand tool work.
The assembly area, though organized, is somewhat cramped as units move on carts from area to area.
The facility is temperature-controlled, but employees may feel warm due to required protective arm sleeves.
PPE includes steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, protective cut sleeves, and cut gloves. Employees must wear cotton, canvas, or denim pants and keep hoods off their heads.
