This role leads strategy development for our $14B enterprise with significant growth aspirations, requiring extensive skills and experience in strategic planning process and execution. A true enterprise leader, the VP of Corporate Strategy brings market-back and fact-based insights that guide ideation, sound judgement in evaluation to balance exploration with conclusion, and rigor in process to ensure productive action - all with the ability to connect throughout the organization with influence and inspiration. This leader is a trusted partner to our most senior leaders, working across businesses and functions to shape the future by leveraging and growing our OC advantages. Reports To: SVP, Strategy, Corp Dev & Integration Span of Control: 6direct reports Location: Toledo/Travel RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy Creation & Execution Lead the strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals Develop and implement comprehensive corporate strategies to accelerate strategies for growth Influence the development and implementation of business unit strategies as a trusted advisor and accountability partner to senior leaders Oversee financial strategies, including budgeting and forecasting, to support strategic initiatives Analyze financial performance and recommend adjustments to enhance business outcomes Lead and manage a portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion Market & Competitive Analysis and Insights Conduct thorough market and economic research and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and competitive threats Leverage consistent strategy frameworks and structured processes to gain productive insights and inform strategic decisions Balance forming a well-informed point of view with remaining open to alternative possibilities Evaluate and refine existing strategies based on market dynamics and business performance Enterprise & Executive Leadership Foster a culture of innovation, strategic evaluation and continuous improvement within the organization Work closely with executive committee to ensure strategies are integrated across the enterprise Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment across departments to streamline processes, improve decision-making, and accelerate execution of strategic initiatives Support communication of strategic plans and progress to stakeholders, both internal and external Lead, develop and empower a team of high-performing individuals to successfully deliver high-impact enterprise initiatives DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE Extensive experience in leading strategic planning and execution, including first-hand strategy development and execution within a similarly sized enterprise as well as professional management consulting on strategy across an industrial portfolio Proven track record of developing and implementing multiple and successful organic and inorganic growth strategies using consistent and regimented processes to provide data first view of market and growth opportunities Deep understanding of industrial markets with a preference for building and construction; historical and f
