SUMMARY:
The Director of Partial Hospital Program (PHP) must have experience facilitating groups and be knowledgeable in the treatment of dual diagnosis and mental health disorders in a partial hospital setting. This position requires the ability to function independently, to manage crises, and to understand various levels of psychiatric care. The Director position is a master's level clinician with experience and expertise in the treatment of patients with mental health and substance use disorders.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Facilitate staff meetings and clinical rounds.Supervise chart audits and oversee maintenance of patient notes.Supervise clinical staff and graduate students.Carry a caseload of four to five (4-5) patients depending on census.Complete patient assessments; provide diagnosis, treatment planning, case management and discharge planning services.Perform utilization reviews.Lead groups focused on mental health and substance use disorders.Ensure compliance with standards of outside credentialing agencies such as insurers, the Joint Commission, and the Department of Public Health.Work in conjunction with insurance requirements.Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.Work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and identify appropriate level of care for patients.Perform administrative and clinical duties.Perform all other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Education:
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related discipline required.Experience:
Two (2) years of clinical experience in an addiction, mental health treatment program or Partial Hospital Program or group counseling required. One to two (1-2) years of supervisory experience required.Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills and must be able to work well on a multidisciplinary team.Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
