Job Summary
The Vac Truck Operator is to safely operate extremely high-pressured water-blast units to clean customer systems and operate industrial vacuum units and drive safely.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Use appropriate PPE, as specified by Safety Director
Follow traffic laws/DOT regulations/ driving knowledge.
Basic knowledge and ability to operate high-pressured water-blaster and vacuum equipment.
Properly prepares equipment and worksite on a daily basis.
Ensures that assigned tasks are performed safely with the highest level of quality.
Effectively communicate with Supervisors/Foremen on area such as safety, quality, and integrity.
Pre-inspect truck.
Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
Qualifications :
Must possess license for 7 years and CDL for 2 years.
Must have a clean Class “B” driver’s license with Tanker Endorsement.
1+ years’ experience in use and operation of the vacuum trucks
Able to effectively communicate both verbal and written
Dependability
Ability to carry/move up to 50 Lbs.
Ability to perform manual labor in an outside setting.
Must be physically able to enter confined spaces such as manholes and must be able to successfully complete/ pass confined space entry training provided by the employer.
