Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures, including inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal standards.Food Safety:
Develop and implement food safety programs, including HACCP plans, to prevent foodborne illnesses and maintain a safe food environment.Menu Development:
Collaborate with culinary team to develop and review menus, ensuring that dishes are flavorful, visually appealing, and aligned with the concept and target audience.Training and Development:
Provide training and education to culinary staff on food safety practices, quality control procedures, and proper handling techniques.Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions. Prepare regular reports on quality performance and identify areas for improvement.Logistics:
Ensure products from production facility to end user are accurate and on time. are maintained and accurate on daily basisQualifications:Bachelors degree in culinary arts or equivalent experienceServSafe Certification and NYC Department of Health Food Protection Certification required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food industry.Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and quality control methodologiesExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.Detail-oriented and results-driven.Bilingual in Spanish language a plus.Ability to drive 16 ft box trucks with a clean NY State Drivers License preferred.Note: This job description is intended to give you a general idea of the responsibilities and expectations associated with this position.
