Senior Facade Specialist

Qualified candidates will investigate, evaluate, prepare design solutions, and provide construction administration for exterior building facade components, including roofs, walls, windows and waterproofing. Responsibilities include close collaboration with architects, engineers, owners, and developers at all project phases to deliver facade and building envelope systems that address architectural intent, long term performance, sustainability, scheduling, and budget objectives.The Senior Facade Specialist will also serve as subject matter expert in the mentorship and training of more junior team members.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. This position is classified as salaried, exempt.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering design, or related fieldA minimum of five (5) years of faade design and engineering experienceExperience with a variety of systems and materials including drawings and diagramsKnowledge of glass products and glass processingCompetency in statics and thermal analysisKnowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, LBNL-Therm, LBNL-Window, RhinoAbility to work successfully in a collaborative team-oriented environmentExcellent communications, planning and organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to seek and nurture client relationshipsPreferred Skills
Master's Degree in Architecture, Engineering Design, or related fieldLicensure in architecture or engineering, or near completion of the licensure process
