What is JetZero?
Today's aircraft contribute around 2.5% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. This is only going to increase: Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall.

This is why we're hiring an Electrical Engineer. You will be responsible for the design and architecting of the avionics and electrical systems for the systems integration labs.

This role is based in Long Beach, CA reporting to the Head of Electrical Systems.What You'll DoVerify the design of the avionics architecture and electrical power distribution system.Design and build test methodologies for avionics and electrical power systems.Utilize simulation and lab facilities to test aircraft systems.Work directly with SMEs and suppliers to test and verify aircraft system architecture.Assist in designing lab facilities.Is consulted extensively by associates and others as a recognized authority within the field.Anticipate and resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways, developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.Approach to problem solving balances technical product, cost and schedule.Work without appreciable direction; work is reviewed from a long-range perspective for desired results.Select appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues.Exercise latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments and makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative.Helpful Traits
