Job Description
The Personal Lines Risk Advisor, is responsible for staying current on market trends as well as changes in clients lifestyle that impact their risk profile and coverages, conducting annual reviews of clients insurance program, negotiating with carriers on clients behalf, and recommending appropriate coverages, limits, . Risk Advisors are also responsible for new business generation by obtaining referrals from existing clients and cross selling appropriate coverages.
Primary Functions :
•Review client exposures, loss experience and current coverage and recommends appropriateproducts and services in a proactive manner.
•Provide efficient and effective responses to client questions and issues.•Gather updating underwriting information from client to evaluate and propose a variety of solutions to manage clients risk.•Create and present Summaries of Insurance and renewal proposals to existing clients and conducts annual interactive client reviews where appropriate.
•Work with Team assistant to mentor and educate them for future growth opportunities.•Ability to quote coverages for existing clients and any remarkets needed.•Provide exceptional service and build relationships with clients, that promotes retentions and referral opportunities.
•Negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to provide comprehensive coverage options forclients and prospects, while conforming to all laws, regulations and requirements governing theinsurance industry.•Implement and maintains workflows ensuring the accuracy of binders, policies, and otherrelevant documents that are delivered to clients.•Communicate clients risk solution and binding instructions to carriers.
•Utilize the (EPIC) Applied system in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain allpertinent account information.
•Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and complies with all internal policies andprocedures.
•Escalate internal and external service concerns that clients may be experiencing to appropriateteam lead or manager for action and prevention of further client impact.
Position Requirements :
•1 - 3 years personal lines insurance experience; preferably working with Mass Affluent clientele.
•Property & Casualty (P&C) License
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office-Word & Excel
•Client service orientation with balance on managing expectations
•Excellent verbal & written communication skills
•Detail oriented, highly organized and ability to meet deadlines
•Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
•Ability to adhere to policies, practices & procedures
•Ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Attributes a Plus:
•College Degree, preferred
•Professional designations a plus, e.g. CPCU, CIC, etc.
•Previous experience with Applied Systems (EPIC) or similar system preferred

Pay Details:
Annual Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
