Description
SUMMARY : Responsible for overseeing the electronic data interchange process to include all incoming and outgoing documents and custom files. Perform troubleshooting when necessary to resolve all content and map problems with our third-party Value-Added Network (VAN), cieTrade systems, and end customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate with third-party Value-Added Networks (VANS) and new Trading Partners to set up new communication protocols and provide optimal customer service.Performs daily EDI checks to ensure a proactive approach is being taken to address any validation issues with documents having incorrect or missing data elements such as product dimensions.Performs routine testing to enhance the import and export processes against our order management system and workflows.Track EDI requests via EDI Team mailbox and projects using our Project Management tool.Provides regular updates to management on the status of projects and escalates concerns in a timely manner.Make recommendations for process improvements as well as introduce new mapping to continue to improve efficiency with our systems.Responsible for documenting current workflows of inbound and outbound transactions and new setups within the open text portal.Train end users on tools to tackle initial inquiries on inbound or outbound status of their documents.Special projects and assignments as business dictates

Bachelor's degree preferred in field such as business, information technology, and computer science or information systems, but not required.1 to 2 years of related EDI experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to understand and address client needsAbility to relate or explain technical information to non-industry personnel.Knowledge of EDI X12 4010 standardsExcellent time management skillsEager to understand the businessOpenText Trading Grid LENS related experience a plus but not requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS
