You will learn about our business model, our processes and gain the experience of how to influence cross-functionally while leading and developing a team of sales professionals. In this role, you will benefit from a 12-month program which begins with 4-6 months of structured onboarding allowing you the opportunity to acclimate to PepsiCo's fast-paced environment. This will build strong foundational knowledge while also increasing ownership and responsibility within the role to set you up for success.
What critical experiences would you gain as a Sales Designate?You will learn about our business model, our processes and gain the experience of how to influence cross-functionally while leading and developing a team of sales professionals. In this role, you will benefit from a 9-12 month program which begins with 4-6 months of structured onboarding allowing you the opportunity to acclimate to PepsiCo's fast-paced environment. This will build strong foundational knowledge while also increasing ownership and responsibility within the role to set you up for success.The Sales Designate will be responsible for leading the account management responsibilities for our Frito Lay national customer Kroger. This exciting role as the Designate will be a part of growing snacks category. The qualified candidate will have excellent strategic selling and negotiating capabilities along with the ability to influence and wire across all levels of the organization. This is a very fast paced environment which requires strong time management and excellent customer service.Develop and support Krogers Annual Operating Plans to deliver Gross sales, Net Revenue, Share, Executional Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and Sales Targets. This process is done collaboratively with Kroger as part of the annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) processP&L responsibilityAchieve Retail Sales Revenue, and Profitability goalsDevelops winning partnerships with Kroger and with internal PepsiCo stakeholders by influencing and penetrating multiple levels within both organizationsLeads cross functionally with Growth Office, Category Management, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure delivery of relevant innovation and key initiativesSupport all aspects of Krogers JBP process, including strategic and tactical plans, while ensuring Sr. Leadership engagement and alignmentManage a complex promotional strategy for growthAbility to integrate Kroger and PepsiCo priorities, while thinking outside the box, to deliver growthBuild comprehensive brand strategies with Marketing supportProvides Kroger expertise and leadership to drive development of appropriate strategic and tactical plans within Frito Lay Field SalesRecommend improvements and implement new processes and programs where necessaryLearn from and shadow our customer leaders to develop and prepare for future rolesCompensation and Benefits:The expected compensation range for this position is between $114,700 - $192,100Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salaryBonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 20% of annual salary paid out annuallyPaid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavementIn addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health, and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement PlanQualifications:
B.S. Degree Required (MBA a plus) & High degree of proficiency MS Office SuiteMinimum of 8-10 years of customer selling experience; preferably with CPG companyCPG experience in a direct store delivery environmentKnowledge and deep understanding of the grocery retail industryStrong Negotiation, Analytical, Prioritization, Interpersonal, Problem-solving, project management, and planning skillsAbility to process and use insights to craft powerful and persuasive messagesDedication and ability to succeed within a dynamic organizationBusiness & financial acumenExpertise with expense management and/or managing a P&L
