This impressive center will provide medical, radiation and palliative oncology under one roof. The Cancer Center will be focused on exploratory care and balancing quality of life. Location: Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and Northwest Hospital.Sinai Hospital is the largest community hospital in Maryland with 424 beds.Constructing a new cancer center that will be approximately 80,000 sq. ft. and boast 32 infusion spaces, 16 exam rooms, 2 radiation oncology linacs, 1 HDR, and 1 CT simulator. Clinical research program opportunities. Opportunity for teaching George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences medical students and Sinai Internal Medicine residents. Opportunity to obtain an academic appointment with the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Supported by a team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and oncology certified nurse navigators. Focus on multidisciplinary care team comprised of APPs, social workers, oncology a dietitian, genetic counselor, financial counselors, and onsite radiation oncology.
