IT Sourcing and Procurement Manager - Remote / Telecommute

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT category, aligning with the organization & overall goals and objectives.Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential vendors and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.Collaborate with functional leaders and stakeholders in each category to understand their specific procurement needs and requirements.Monitor and analyze category-specific spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement budgets.Develop and oversee contracts, ensuring they are legally sound and in line with organizational requirements and standards.Implement procurement best practices, such as sustainable sourcing initiatives, to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting each category.Establish regular performance reviews of vendors and negotiate contract renewals or terminations as needed.Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions or vendor non-compliance.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards throughout the sourcing process.Participate in budget planning and forecasting activities, providing insights on expected procurement costs and trends.Maintain current vendor directory and databases including contract management.Monitor corporate purchasing contracts for product additions/deletions and notify internal customers of changes that would require additional follow-up.Review proposed contracts/agreements for accuracy and compliance to GPO or corporate agreement Terms and Conditions.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers.ssist with corporate and local/regional contract review and renewals when needed.Regular and reliable attendance is required.Knowledge and Skills:
Experience leading end-to-end Strategic Sourcing initiatives.Experience with IT contract negotiations.Experience with data gathering and analysis.Experience reviewing contract Terms and Conditions.Experience with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) preferred.Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of five years' experience in Procurement Strategic Sourcing.Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
