Division of Bridges seeks to hire an Assistant Finance and Performance Management Commissioner who will report directly to the Deputy Commissioner and Chief Bridge Officer. The Assistant Commissioner of Finance and Performance Management will oversee the division's $13.7 Billion 10-year Capital Program and an annual operating budget of more than $100 Million. In addition, the Assistant Commissioner will also oversee all the Division's Procurements, Project Delivery, Data Analytics, IT development, and the Truck Permit Unit. The Assistant Commissioner will also be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Oversee the delivery of the division's capital commitment plan.Lead the division's MWBE participation initiative.Oversee division audits both external and internal.Establish and develop relations with agency senior management and external partners and stakeholdersAdvise on long-term financial planning.Oversee operational workflows and enhance efficiency.Analyze financial and operational data to identify areas for improvement.Ensure implementation of IT systems to further the goals of the DivisionEnsure continuity and improvement of Over-Dimensional Truck Permitting policies and operations.Responsible for liaising with the Audit BureauEnsure compliance with local and regional oversights.

Eighteen (18) months of this experience must have been in an executive, managerial, administrative, or supervisory capacity. Supervision must have included supervising staff performing professional work in the areas described above.
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas described in "1" above, including the 18 months of executive, managerial, administrative, or supervisory experience, as described in "1" above.
3. An associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college and six years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in "1" above, including the 18 months of executive, managerial, administrative, or supervisory experience, as described in "1" above.
4. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and eight years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in "1" above, including the 18 months of executive, managerial, administrative, or supervisory experience, as described in "1" above.
5. A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to "1", "2", "3", or "4" above. College education may be substituted for professional experience at the rate of 30 semester credits from an accredited college for one year of experience.
