FRDA is looking for an Electrical Engineer to become part of an exhilarating program within a cutting-edge operations facility! We're looking for a dynamic candidate who thrives in fast-paced environments and can tackle a diverse array of urgent program needs.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of electrical systems commissioning and energy services throughout all phases of exciting new construction projects. You'll also engage in retro-commissioning, energy auditing, and energy modeling, all while championing the energy and sustainability goals of our clients. Collaborating closely with mechanical engineers and software control teams, you'll help design, implement, and optimize IT infrastructure installations.

This position is located in Sterling, VA.

Clearance Level:

TS/SCI with CI Poly; must be willing to upgrade

Candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Operational maintenance of multiple electrical systems, both CONUS and OCONUS, to include analysis and reporting of electrical data and metricsMaintain documentation pertaining to the various projects, design drawings, technical reports, and engineering activitiesRequired Qualifications:

5+ years of electrical engineering or similar experienceDesign and instrument facilities infrastructure planningAnalysis of building monitoring system's data, and the ability to action plan develop and integration requirements to support facility/site expansions, and to mitigate or resolve inefficienciesAbility to calculate and develop power requirements for either new or existing facilitiesIn-depth knowledge of electrical equipment to include but not limited to; Medium/Low Voltage Unit Substations, Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS), Generators, Automatic Transfer SwitchesDevelop Standard Operating Procedures and Sequence of Operations for electrical and control systemsDevelop and execute preventative and/or predictive maintenance plans for mission critical equipmentAbility to interpret and design electrical one-line and control wiring diagramsDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical equipment to resolve issues or improve efficienciesAdvocate and seek implementation strategies for continuous business and industry standards improvementsBachelor's degree or higher from an accredited College or University in Electrical Engineering or other STEM related field with a minimum of 5 years' experienceUS Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance requiredDesired Skills:

Knowledgeable in mechanical cooling systems pertaining to Data Center configurationsKnowledgeable in computer aided design software such as AutoCADEngineer-in-training (EIT) certificationMaster's degree
