The Role:
Reporting to the AVP, Finance the Finance Manager is responsible for performing duties related to the finance functions for Charlotte Tilbury Beauty North America (US+ Canada). This role will partner with various North America Business functions and Local/Global Finance teams in ensuring a timely and accurate forecast/budgets preparation, month end close, various analysis, cost controlling and preparation of useful financial reports. The role will contribute towards building and developing a robust finance function to support continued growth of the North America business.
Role Accountabilities:
Business Partnerships:Provide financial support to various functions: Marketing (Skin + Color categories), PR, Visual Merchandising, Store Design, Tech, HR, Commercial, Customer Care, Supply Chain, Facilities, and othersPrepare business cases for new marketing investments/initiatives and perform postmortem analysis of actual resultsProactive analysis of all operating expenditures to influence decision making and identify R&O'sMonitor and analyze monthly actual performance versus the latest Forecast/Budget and scrutinize results and deviations of spend against planIdentify and perform ROI/ROAs analysis on various OPEX/CAPEX investmentsIntroduce and instill ringfence initiatives across various budgets to ensure budget EBITDA deliveryPrepare and facilitate monthly actual results reviews to Senior Leadership TeamLead annual pricing reviews for North America and assigned new markets; work in tandem with Global Product Portfolio Manager to assess pricing suggestions relative to all other regions.Budget/forecast:
Work in collaboration with stakeholders to facilitate process of OPEX budgeting and forecasting in adherence with top-down targets with emphasis on phasing accuracy and strategic prioritiesEnsure stakeholder adherence to budget/forecast timetables for submissionsMaintain expense trackers to reflect up to date spend trendsOwnership of forecast data load into AnaplanMonth End and Reporting:
Ensuring timely and accurate completion of the month end close process for assigned areas of responsibilitiesDeliver various month end accruals, analysis, schedules and reporting for assigned areas of responsibilitiesDrive accountability w/ budget owners on PO cycle and aged accruals to ensure accuracy of expense recording, coding, and phasingMonth end P&L commentary of assigned areas of responsibilitiesManage the preparation of financial reports and decks, including functional reporting for local leadershipIdentify, manage and track risks and opportunities across the North American business for weekly reportingAnaplan and NetSuite power userReporting Relationships:

Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting or FinanceFinance/ FP&A experience of 5+ years requiredExtensive business partnering, financial reporting and month end experienceMotivated self-starter with ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced start-up environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels both internally and externallyMust be detailed-oriented and organizedAdvanced Excel skills and financial systems savviness (financial modeling skills highly preferred)Prior experience w/ NetSuite and Anaplan preferredRecord of process improvementsFlexible & adaptable to changing prioritiesAffinity for beauty and retailBenefits
