Our Internship Program is designed to provide students with unique experiences in their field of interest while providing valuable insight into other key areas of the business.T. Marzetti is looking for an intern to join the Retail R&D Team in the summer of 2025!Over the course of our 12-week program, our interns will gain:Practical Experience : Take ownership in meaningful projects and share innovative ideas to gain relevant experience in Retail R&D.Professional Development : Develop your professional network by connecting with colleagues, managers, and fellow interns through social activities, volunteer opportunities, and development sessions with company leadership.Career Advancement : Potential for part-time and full-time employment based on your performance and the companys needs.Responsibilities:
Research and formula developmentSpecification buildingDeveloping and presenting project updatesLab support including stocking ingredients and supplies, making formulas, analytical testingUtilization of our spec system, label making, ordering supplies.Participation in our sensory programQualifications:
Enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate accredited University?with a focus in: Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, CulinaryDemonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experienceExceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skillsDemonstrates sound judgment and applies logical thinking when creating solutionsDemonstrates curiosity and initiativeDisplays a professional, positive attitude with team membersAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft ExcelInterest in Food Science R&DWillingness to taste, develop, and test new products
