Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager - Technology

This role will be responsible for the management of Third Party/Vendor relationships, including the development of sourcing strategies, contract evaluation and negotiation, as well as ongoing vendor management through the development of service deliverables, SLAs, and operational KPIs. This position will interface with every level of the organization and drive cost savings and improved business outcomes through effective supplier negotiations and management.
Responsibilities will include planning and vendor selection (including RFI's & RFP's), risk assessment, pricing and contract negotiations, managing due diligence, and quarterly/annual business reviews. The role will also focus on collaborating with various business leaders to develop and execute category plans and sourcing strategies that minimize vendor risk while optimizing vendor economics and outcomes.
You'll Get To::Develop purchasing strategy and plans in close coordination with internal stakeholders across the companyIdentification and realization of cost-savings and cost-reduction opportunities and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs without compromising supply assurance or qualityNegotiate price and commercial terms and conditions with suppliers for an assigned category (technology, marketing, facilities, etc.)Continuous learning and development of knowledge and understanding of procurement methods, service categories, and general business conditions to drive innovation and continuous improvementEstablish and provide training and day-to-day support on procurement policies and processes for business unit and/or corporate staff involved in purchasing activitiesAdhere to, and monitor, compliance within company purchasing policies and procedures and transact all business with the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professional conductCoordinate financial analytics with the finance team to support commercial term negotiations with performance dashboards and ROI based evaluation tools
What You'll Bring::
7+ years of experience in third party vendor management / global procurementExperience in conceptual design of complex projects and programsAbility to effectively communicate and present information: one on one, small groups, functional leaders, executive management, clients, and other employees of the organizationStrong knowledge of procurement and strategic sourcing best practicesEffective written communication skills to summarize complex concepts and terms into executive summariesMust be comfortable working in a high pace environment, be able to multi-task, and have a hands-on attitudeMust be able to excel in a flexible, fast-paced work environment and meet deadlinesStrong analytical skills, high level attention to detail, a self-starter with a can do mentality
