GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Manager HR Business Partner is a trusted advisor in providing HR leadership and guidance in supporting a results-oriented organization. As a business partner to both retail field leadership and Corporate partners, this role will be instrumental in executing the business's vision, mission, and overall objectives, as well as mitigating risk, through effective talent management support. This role also plays a pivotal role in supporting field/store associates on HR-related matters and coaches/develops managers in key leadership characteristics and business success measures.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish trust to build real relationships and utilize a consulting process in influencing leaders to address HR related risks to business objectivesActs as an advocate for associates creating and fostering a best in class work environmentAssesses and anticipates HR-related needs and builds/execute strategies to address; including but not limited to employee engagement, succession planning, performance management, recruiting strategy, talent acquisition, and talent developmentDrive management's ownership for managing and developing their peopleServes as an active member of the retail Zone Leadership TeamPartners with other HR shared services to coordinate the development and implementation of programs, systems, and processesAnalyzes reporting to understand how and where to support the business strategy and to drive business resultsProvides guidance to managers and associates for HR related concerns including lower risk associate relations and the performance managementEnsures compliance regarding Company policy and federal/state employment lawActively participates in the recruiting strategy processPartners with Total Rewards to communicate and implement programs related to Compensation & Benefits to ensure complianceFacilitates new manager onboarding process for field managersBuilds business knowledge by participating in meetings, reading industry publications and job shadowingBASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience7+ years' Human Resource or related experienceAbility to manage confidential information effectively, while maintaining adherence to company policies and proceduresStrong knowledge of HR policies, processes and programsDemonstrated management skills as well as an ability to work in a team environmentExhibits a strong, highly collaborative working style; builds strong relationshipsKnowledge of employment laws and regulations including state and federal regulations regarding employment practicesStrong Project Management and Process Improvement skillsDemonstrate innovative thinking to problem solving and customer serviceAbility to collaborate, consult and influence with various levels of management and associatesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Retail industry experienceUnderstanding of Canadian HR practices/policies/regulations

Pay Range: 131,186.40 - 190,986.00

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
