Electrical EngineerJob Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in PLC programming, electrical design using AutoCAD, and robust experience within manufacturing. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, demonstrate proficiency in creating schematic drawings, and possess the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. This role encompasses programming, troubleshooting, and designing electrical systems for various industries, including paper, wastewater, and bottling.Responsibilities:+ Program and troubleshoot PLCs.+ Design and create schematic drawings using AutoCAD.+ Size wires and ensure compliance with NEC standards.+ Work independently with minimal direction, often in the mill.+ Engage in electrical design work for diverse projects.+ Build and design electrical panels.Essential Skills:+ Proficiency in PLC programming.+ Degree in Electrical Engineering.+ Experience in manufacturing.+ Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.+ Ability to create schematic drawings.+ Understanding of electrical logic, preferably using PLCs.Additional Skills & Qualifications:+ Experience with Siemens PLCs.+ Knowledge of NEC standards.+ Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of commissioning experience (optional).+ 4-5+ years of experience with both electrical design and PLCs.+ Ability to program and troubleshoot AB PLCs.Work Environment: This role involves working 80% in an office and 20% on the plant floor. The position is based onsite at a client location near Shavertown, PA.
