Position SummaryBay FC is a dynamic, data-driven sports organization committed to on-field success and exceeding customer expectations. We are seeking an experienced Director of Lifecycle Marketing to enhance our retention efforts through comprehensive strategies that improve customer engagement and drive revenue growth across email, push and SMS. In this pivotal role, you will define the strategy for omni-channel campaigns, establish the necessary technical and operational frameworks to deliver personalized touchpoints, and deliver analytical insights that measure performance and drive data-informed decisions. You will also manage and mentor our Retention Marketing Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader who combines marketing insights with technical expertise in automation and data management to drive impactful results for Bay FC. This role will report into the Vice President of Growth & Retention.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of data-driven lifecycle marketing strategies to enhance fan engagement and maximize revenue across email, push, and SMS.Create a comprehensive omni-channel communication plan targeting key fan segments with personalized messaging.Oversee the execution and optimization of lifecycle marketing campaigns to align with business objectives and brand guidelines.Review data integrity and manage the setup of data import/export processes for accurate feeds into the marketing automation tool.Analyze campaign performance and customer data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.Establish benchmarks to build KPIs and monitor the effectiveness of lifecycle marketing efforts.Mentor and guide the Retention Marketing Manager to foster a high-performance culture that encourages innovation and growth.Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, share insights, and strategize on upcoming initiatives.Track industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.Ensure compliance with marketing regulations.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.10+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, retention marketing, or a similar role, with a proven track record of driving customer engagement and revenue growth.Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems; experience with Iterable preferred.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute data-driven marketing strategiesExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams, fostering a high-performance culture.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.Familiarity with legal regulations in marketing, including CAN-SPAM and CCPA.Understanding of NWSL and/or Soccer preferred.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this role is between

$120,000-$125,000.

Hired applicant will be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus .

Actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
