Our client is seeking a Quality Control Manager for datacenter project in Springfield, VA for a confidential hyperscale government (fitting out 2 data center halls). This person would be on contract for the entirety of the project (slated to be complete in Aug. 2025), with the possibility of conversion and/or extension. This person will inspect the project before, during, and after construction to ensure compliance with all safety and quality specifications. as well as the following: Reviewing submittals for compliance with contract documentsReviewing delivered materials for compliance with approved submittals/contract documents Conducting Pre-con meetings with contractors for the definable features of work (DFoW)Reviewing and adhering to the QC plan, DFoW log and testing/inspections log Participating in the 3 phase quality inspection process -- Preinstall/first work/follow up inspectionsTrack quality deficiencies and aid in resolution. Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or similar CQMNeeds 10 years relevant work experience supporting commercial or federal construction projects with mechanical and electrical focusProficient in construction means and methods, work sequencing and field operations experienceBe able to review contract documents (drawings, specifications, contracts) and other project documents (submittals, shop drawings) for constructability and accuracy. Highly organized with excellent attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office 365 SuiteProficient in risk analysis and mitigation, effective written and oral communication, strategic development, and process refinementOSHA 30 First Aid/CPR
