This individual promotes positive employee relations throughout the organization by ensuring development and implementation of consistent and equitable processes, providing guidance on best practices, identifying solutions and diffusing issues to mitigate risk, and maintaining legal compliance.The value youll bring to the team:Provides vision and critical leadership to manage the Employee Relations function in support of the values, mission, and culture of AdventHealthProvides leadership to Central and Regional Senior Level Managers and ensures alignment of process, communication and policyManages and coaches team to encourage continual development and awareness of employment law updates and briefings in support of advancing team member subject matter knowledge and consulting expertiseManages the HR SS Employee Relations team to include Specialists, Managers and Sr. Managers.Provides direction to proactively identify risks, diffuse issues, provide employee and management consultation, conduct investigations, and resolve issues as they ariseDevelops positive business relationships with employees and key executive stakeholders through ensuring that employee relations issues are addressed in a comprehensive and collaborative mannerEnsures effective recording of ER data to help identify emerging internal trends and insights regarding employee issuesLeads the presentation of ER deep-dive analytics to HR Business Partners to provide understanding around the drivers of employee behaviorCollaborates with Corporate Employment Law Advisors, HR Business Partners, and HR Shared Services teams in order to identify and develop solutions around employee relations issuesFosters a positive employee relations environment which drives engagement, inclusion, and ensures a working environment free from harassmentServes as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues and investigations by utilizing strong negotiation, conflict resolution, mediation skills, and experiencePartners with HR leadership and the legal team to represent AdventHealth in charge investigations and/or litigation casesReviews the impact of the Employee Relations function and develops recommendations to address facility and organizational training needsDevelops and monitors metrics/tracking mechanisms that measure results, efficiency, and cost effectiveness, while ensuring employee disputes and complaints are handled in a timely and appropriate mannerProvides guidance to leadership, as needed, for difficult or actionable grievances filed by employeesOversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or regulatory bodies

QualificationsThe expertise and experiences youll need to succeed :EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :Minimum Bachelors degree required, preferably in Business, Human Resources, or a related fieldMinimum of ten years of Employee Relations experience at a large-sized organization required, preferably in a healthcare environmentMinimum of seven years of managerial experience required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:Masters degree preferred

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation preferred
