Maintaining production standards. Work very closely with Quality Assurance.Shift Hours: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pmDescription of Duties:Work with manager and supervisor on process and ideas to stream-line production.Improve machine packing speeds and productivity.Advise maintenance when issues arise with production linesAssign and run samples when needed.Ability to accurately prepare documents, production sheets and other report related material required from the managers.Maintains a safe working environment, and compliance of all procedures related to job specifications.Possess the ability to motivate workers within the team to perform to the best of their abilities and encourages production team to stay on task and remain at their work stations.Coordinate with supervisor to assign packing department individuals to specific job tasks.Responsible for all workers assigned to his/her specific work area.Observe the performance of workers in the production team to ensure compliance with procedures and safety regulations.Ability to cover for missing production staff in order to achieve company goals for each day, i.e., machine operator, forklift operator, packer, and bulk packer.Strong attention to details.Responsible for monitoring food safety and employee s safetyStrong interpersonal skills.Essential Skills and Experience:High School Diploma or GED required.Computer Skills, Excel, Word and Email Proficient inmath and written skills required.Able to lift 30-40 pounds of raw material bags.Excellent verbal communication skills.Ability to multi-task on any type of projects.At least 1 year of leadership role in manufacturing/food production plantPhysical demands and work environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
