That starts with you!Job Summary:The Manager/Supervisor in the Audit department is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to audit staff (Associates & Senior Associates) and managing external audit engagements. The role provides detailed analysis of findings and coordinates all analytical, technical, and research tasks. The role works with clients, partners, and audit staff in all areas of the audit process, including risk assessment, audit plan programs, and preparing audit reports.Supervisory Responsibilities:Act as coach and mentor to all employees in the audit team.Handle onboarding and training in accordance with company policy.Oversee the daily workflow of the audit engagements.Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.Provide oversight and direction to the employees on the assigned audit engagements.Duties/Responsibilities:Audits an entity's financial records, statements, and reports, verifying accuracy and consistency according to US GAAP and GAAS standards.Effectively communicate with client management and various third parties to obtain needed information.Provide direction in and feedback on the completion of audits.Perform review of auditing findings and reports.Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.Complete engagement within budget and in a timely manner.Education and Experience:Required:Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, AccountingCPA Certified or CPA Candidate.Five+ years of experience in auditing within a private or public accounting firm.Must have a reliable vehicle for travel to client offices, local travel is required.Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, etc. (We use Thomson Reuters Suite for audit engagements).Preferred:Experience in audits of employee benefit plans, 401(k) plans, or labor organizations.Interest in and knowledge of data analytics.Knowledge of payroll taxes and payroll systems.Required Skills/Abilities:Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.Able to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Proficient with Thomson Reuters suite of software for audit work.Benefits:
