Job Description

RESPONSABILITIES / RESPONSABILIDADES - List the essential functions (i.e. key responsibilities with expected end results), which must be accomplished in order to fulfill the purpose of your position as described aboveMaintain existing customer account (REVENUE) by maintaining direct customer communications as required, being a liaison for technical inquiries, addressing field or quality concerns, and providing customer service.Support timely collections of accounts receivable (WC) upon escalation by collections group when resolution require commercial negotiation.Provide sales forecast on current book of business (ENABLER)Facilitate Request for Quote response with proper organizational support (REVENUE)Support P&L and WC for product lines and associated activity (WC, EBITDA) thru direct accountability for LTA, price reductions, price rejuvenation with proper organizational approval and support organizational activities for VA/VE, inventory control, payment terms and premiums.Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development. (ENABLER)Ensure customer satisfaction (ENABLER)Lead and support development of business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability (REVENUE, EBITDA, WC) by performing market research, competitor analysis and customer surveys, gather customer requirements; initiating and coordinating development of action plans; develop business case / white paper with cross functional team support; and deliver RFQ response and negotiate terms with proper organizational approval.Support business development team with industry, competitor and market intelligence (ENABLER)Support cross-selling initiatives with BU team.Comply with and enforce the PKC Group Environmental, Health and Safety Policy.Comply with the environmental work instructions applicable to their job position.Report any deviation on the environmental operational controls established and communicate improvement initiatives.Participate in EHS training.KNOWLEDGE / CONOCIMIENTO- Describe any knowledge or skill (eg, technical, scientific, administrative, managerial) which the position requires.

Education and Experience:

Minimum:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fieldMinimum 5 years of Account / Project Management experiencePreferred:

8 years of electrical distribution systems experience8 years of injection molding, metal stamping and component assembly experiencePrevious role with key OEM/ Tier account; either Light Vehicle (Ford, GM, Chrysler, Delphi, Lear, Yazaki) or Commercial Vehicle (Daimler Truck, Paccar, Volvo)Skill/ knowledge requirements:

Proven Account Management skills required to order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationshipsIS/TS/QS Procedures and StandardsEngineering StandardsMS Office ProficiencyCost reporting and reconciliationChange ControlSkilled negotiatorExcellent written and oral communication skillsMust be able to travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally.Medium physical activity - ability to lift up to 25 pounds.High level of initiative and works well in team environmentAble to manage stressful situations and deadline pressuresPlans and executes responsibilities with minimal directionADDITIONAL INFORMATION / INFORMACION ADICIONAL - Describe all other aspects of the position that you feel are important and which have not been adequately covered (i.e. unique problems encountered, special freedom to take action, critical outside contacts, dimensions, exceptional working conditions etc.)

Working Conditions:

High physical activity - ability to lift up to 35 pounds.Ability to walk and move about 100% of the day.Ability to Must be able to support regular travel (30% - 60%) - primarily within N. America, but also must be able to travel overseas if requiredmanage stressful situation and deadline pressures.
