Overview: Hayes Locums seeks an experienced Lead Salesforce Developer to lead design and development of our evolving CRM platform. As a Lead Salesforce developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing strategic solutions for the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities include identifying project objectives, analyzing implementation options, creating custom workflows, and troubleshooting errors. The ideal Salesforce Developer will be hands on in the entire development process from requirements gathering sessions through proof designs and demonstration solutions. To ensure success as a Salesforce developer, you should have extensive development experience with Salesforce CRM platforms, an ability to work with business leaders to identify requirements, and a knack for solving complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Salesforce developer will be able to create dynamic and scalable Salesforce applications that meet the changing needs of the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as a Salesforce engineer on a cross-functional team responsible for developing, testing, documenting, and deploying high-quality, scalable business solutions on the platform. Practice and share agile methodologies throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, including estimating level of effort and refining user stories. Work with Business and IT teams to establish agreed-upon timelines for projects. Effectively manage multiple tasks and timelines and prioritize workload. Complete maintenance activities and prepare new releases in Salesforce system, including deployments, system refreshes, and testing/acceptances of platform maintenance releases. Develop and coordinate data transfers between Salesforce and outside databases. Stay up to speed on the newest Salesforce technologies and advancements. Research and determine usefulness of new and emerging technologies. Utilize Salesforce best practices and leverage available platform functionalities where possible. Communicate and collaborate with team members across various technology platforms regarding technical issues, business requirements, solution design, creative solutions, and project status. Mentor less experienced team members in areas such as Salesforce design and implementation, application development, and testing and release management. Communicate your ideas through Lucid charts, presentations, demos, whiteboard sessions, and writing. Complete final review of code changes and other deployments Document newly implemented processes in LucidCharts Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Finance, Business Management, or related STEM field, or equivalent. 8 years of custom Salesforce Development. Hands-on experience developing Lightning Components, both within the Salesforce Lightning Design System and by writing custom Lightning Components in Java Script within the Aura framework. Extensive experience developing custom Apex Classes and Apex Triggers. Expertise in Salesforce Query and Search Language (SoQL and SoSL), also must be able to speak to limitations of languages and differences between SoQL and SQL. Experience developing Visualforce pages, Visualforce components and Customer Controllers. Proven experience using Salesforce declarative tools - Lightning flows, Process Builders, workflows/rules, validation rules, approval processes, case management, formula fields, and API's. Implementation and customization experience with Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing. Experience creating Custom Report Types and developing custom Reports and Dashboards. Experience with interacting with external systems via Salesforce callouts. Experience developing applications that interact with Salesforce via the SOAP, REST, MuleSoft ESB APIs. Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills, including attention to detail. Salesforce Certifications required: Salesforce Admin I, Platform Developer I; Platform App Builder desired.
