Job Description

The Regional Sales Director will have the following primary responsibilities:

Provide ongoing guidance and oversight to Sales Directors within select geography (1-2 regions)Work with regional leadership to consistently review key metrics, and provide detailed feedback to EDs and SDs in order to improve or stabilize metrics and core activitiesHold weekly joint meetings (minimum) with each communities' SDs, and EDs, as well as weekly review meeting with regional ops leadershipProvide ongoing training and coaching to current Sales DirectorsAssist in development and rollout of Sonida Senior Living sales best practices and new training curriculumEnsure new Sales Directors and Executive Directors are trained on core sales systems and sales report utilizationThe Regional Sales Director (RSD) will help strengthen Sonida Senior Living's overall sales activities and serve as a critical leader for community Sales Directors Operations leadership teams. This critical position will be responsible for turning Sonida Senior Living's Sales Directors into the premiere sales team within senior living.By providing guidance and training while continuously interacting with Sales Directors, the RSD will also discover new best practices and methods that can be relayed throughout the organization to help drive revenue, occupancy and ensure a positive experience for residents. These tools and best practices will strengthen the organization's role and reputation as a leader and authoritative voice in senior living.

Responsibilities :

Work on-site and via phone with all Sales Directors within a given territory to ensure best practices are understood and executed. The RSD travel to local communities when necessary to help determine improvement areas for our Sales Directors, demonstrate best practices as well as provide ongoing education recommendations. The RSD will also mentor these current Sales Directors.Work on-site and via phone with all Sales Directors within a given territory to ensure best practices are understood and executed. The RSD will also mentor these current Sales Directors.Primary: Conduct weekly (depending on need), phone calls with Sales Directors within their geography to review outreach activity, leads, follow-up, etc., and provide recommendations and next steps.Work on-site with new Sales Directors, leading them through several days of their first 90-days with the organization. Follow-up visits and training are likely. The RSD will mentor new Sales Directors, guiding them through the importance of inter-departmental relationships, lead management, prospect engagement and tours, community outreach, etc.Work with other RSD and others to develop and roll out formal sales process, leveraging general sales best practices and best practices currently utilized at Sonida Senior Living - protocol will continuously be monitored, improved and practiced by Sales Directors.Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, communication, marketing or related fieldMinimum of 10+ years in a sales and marketing function, preferably in the senior living space.Skill/ knowledge requirements:

Ability to quickly understand industry-specific sales and market dynamics and incorporate knowledge into all initiatives.Track-record of introducing creating and executing new sales and marketing programs successfully, while on time and on budget.Ability to work closely with local teams, with emphasis on the Sales Directors, while working closely with regional operations team and colleagues at the home office.Success with local-community outreach, and the ability to identify these referral sources and create best-practices that can be shared with other Sales Directors.Ability to quickly understand industry-specific sales and market dynamics and incorporate knowledge into all initiatives.Track-record of introducing creating and executing new sales and marketing programs successfully, while on time and on budget.Ability to work closely with local team, with emphasis on the Sales Directors, while working closely with regional operations team and colleagues at the home office.Success with local-community outreach, and the ability to identify these referral sources and create best-practices that can be shared with other Sales Directors.Ability to travel 75% of the time during the business week.
