Position at SBM Management
The HR Generalist will coordinate responsibilities in employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action, and employment law compliance.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in complianceRecruit, interview, test, and select employees to fill vacant positionsPlan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goalsKeep records of personnel transactions such as new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, for government reportingHandle leave administration for designated sitesAdvise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issuesRespond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programsPrepare employee separation notices and related documentation; conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separationsProvide monthly departmental reportsDevelop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information, recommending courses of actionImprove manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluate potential solutions; implement selected solution; coach and counsel managers and employeesComplete special projects by clarifying project objective; set timetables and schedules; conduct research; develop and organize information; fulfill transactionsManage client expectations by communicating project status and issues; resolve concerns; analyze time and cost issuesPrepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trendsProtect organization's value by keeping information confidentialQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 1-3 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMay be required to have a valid driver's license and meet SBM Driver Approval requirements.Must have heavy investigative experienceBilingual proficiency: English & Spanish
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
