Apply today The Electrician performs electrical preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting and repairs of wiring, fixtures, equipment, systems, tools, structures and equipment as needed in a timely, clean, safe and professional manner according to National Electrical Code (NEC), local municipal codes and Duncan Aviation approved procedures. In addition, this position coordinates electrical needs and works with outside contractors as necessary; and completes timely and accurate documentation. Essential Job Functions 1. Troubleshoots and repairs electrical wiring throughout the Company and Duncan properties, using PPE, basic hand tools, and test equipment in accordance with the NEC, local municipal codes and Duncan Aviation approved procedures. 2. Performs electrical work for remodeling and new construction projects including coordinating electrical work with outside contractors. 3. Performs electrical preventative maintenance and subsequent repairs and documents work performed in Company's Preventative Maintenance program. 4. Performs electrical troubleshooting and assisting with HVAC systems, repairs, and new installations. 5. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Job Specific Requirements Licenses/Certificates: Respirator Fit qualified. Must have a valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required Physical: Routinely lifts up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs.; reads small print; hears sounds associated with mechanical deficiencies; repetitive motion; works with moving parts and vibration; tolerates products, materials, and fumes associated with component maintenance; tolerates working at heights above four feet; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and sitting Environmental: Tolerates working in extreme temperatures and in noisy environments Education and Experience High school graduate or equivalent required Minimum three years experience as a licensed journeyman electrician required State and/or city electrical license also required Available Benefits Moving is expensive and hard work Relocation Assistance is available for those that qualify.
