Honeybee Robotics is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support the electrical systems development of robotic sample acquisition and handling devices used in planetary exploration. In this role, you will report directly to the Avionics Manager and interface with inter-disciplinary teams in the development of electrical components and avionics systems.
Responsibilities:
Conduct analog and digital circuit debuggingPerform circuit analysisSupport projects through all phases of development: concepts, prototyping, productionDevelop and generate work instruction packages for manufacturing and test of circuit card assembliesExecute test work instructionsPerform electrical evaluation and selection of instrumentation (temperature, pressure, position, etc.)Review test data and recommend changes to products and processesRequired Qualifications:
BS Electrical Engineering or equivalent disciplineMinimum of 2 years of general engineering experienceSolid circuit theory fundamentalsExperienced with Altium schematic capture and PCB layout tool or equivalentFamiliar with embedded C developmentFamiliar with Spice simulationProficient with using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and LCR metersDetail-oriented with an emphasis on design documentation and test summary report generationCompensation and Benefits:

We offer a flexible salary range for this job posting that will be customized based on the qualifications of the chosen candidate. Our compensation strategy takes into account various factors, including education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market alignment. The position is available at multiple levels, and the corresponding salary ranges are as follows:
Electrical Engineer I: $86,000-121,000
Electrical Engineer II: $103,000-144,000
Electrical Engineer III: $128,000-179,000
