Location: Overview: Ensure guest satisfaction and revenue optimization through airport shuttle, driveway management, garage management and the coordination of hotel services. Responsibilities: Supervise Valet Parking, Shuttle Drivers and Bell Staff. Oversee the routine maintenance and repair of the hotel vehicles. Maintain allotments and pricing for third party valet parking websites. Respond to guest requests and inquiries. Coordinate reservations for guest parking. Prepare weekly, monthly and annual revenue forecasts for Parking. Complete documents necessary for reporting accidents. Interaction with guests to resolve conflicts. Create seasonal marketing plan to promote parking packages. Participate in the Social Media Committee. Monitors payroll hours and reports. Monitor current rate, rate changes and all promotions and groups. Communicate with Director of Rooms Operations or Rooms Operations Manager regarding all aspects of Parking operations. Assure property operation meets internal audit standards. Implement, monitor and maintain departmental inventory, record keeping, accounting, budget and purchasing policies according to HMC policies and procedures. Select, train, supervise, develop, schedule, discipline, and counsel employees according to HMC policies and procedures. Monitor Parking/Shuttle compliance in Signature and Guest Satisfaction Scores programs. Ensure hotel compliance with HMC hotel and employee management policies and procedures. Review reservation forecasts, catering functions, convention pick-up, marketing plan, promotional packages and notify staff of changes. Complete reports and paperwork (i.e., forecasts, annual budgets). Determine daily, weekly, and monthly selling status and strategies. Conduct performance appraisals. Manage operations in compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. Maintain Material Safety Data Sheet procedures and other requirements according to OSHA standards. Ensure enforcement and communicate hotel security policies and procedures (including emergency procedures). Participate in emergency response team activities including fire drills, alarm tests and emergency response practice sessions as directed by hotel management. Report all unsafe conditions and suspicious activities immediately. Attend all mandatory hotel meetings. Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor, to include cross training, MOD shifts, CPR and first aid training. Keep work area neat and organized.
Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills: Previous management or supervisory experience of 2 years. Ability to manage according to the employment, service and Inn Keeping laws of the jurisdiction. Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics that inspire employees to meet and exceed standards. Computer literate. Basic Accounting knowledge. Ability to operate computer systems as required within the hotel. Valid drivers license. No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others.
