Position Objective:
The position of Intern for the Lean Center of Excellence will assist Enterprise Strategy Leaders and Business Excellence Leaders with administrative tasks such as: maintaining departmental web site, scheduling training, setting up classrooms, catering lunches, distributing course materials, and facilitating meetings. Additional tasks supporting the Lean Center of Excellence may include traveling to different facilities, development of study material documentation, and participating in Lean training exercises. The incumbent intern may also be required to attend Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Agile training, and may participate in projects focused on improving Safety, Quality, Velocity, and Cost.
Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a college program with a Business or Engineering major.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience and/or knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile process improvement methodologies.
Compensation :
The hourly compensation for this role will range from $22.30- $39.00/hr. Actual compensation will be based on experience and graduation year.
